A funny/yet sad story

This is the week of stories for me, but I had to share this one.

We had pretty crummy weather in this area on Monday and a lot of schools were closed (not mine of course). One of the kindergarten kids that usually goes home with his aunts (who are in 1st & 3rd grade) was left at school with no one to pick him up because his aunts hadn't come to school. After numerous phone calls and attempted contacts, the pre-school teacher ended up driving him to his grandma's house (mother of the aunts). When she got there, the family were all surprised to see that he had gone to school because..... (this is the funny part)

They had seen USA school listed as closed on the TV and thought all the schools in the United States were closed.

For those of you that don't know USA schools is the area abbreviation for Unionville-Sebewing Area Schools.

Yup, we didn't know wither to laugh at the sure craziness of it or cry at the ding dong moment.

But, I had to share it anyways.
