Third Time's a Charm
Okay, once was scary. Two was insane. Three was just unthinkable.
The third time was the charm.
I went to our district board office today and filled out a transfer request after a third shooting just outside of our building (not even a block away at a point I drive by every day).
At least I will have this as a fall back option if all my other job hunting efforts don't pay off.
Pray that the Lord does his will (and hopefully his will - will be that I get out of Saginaw!)

OK. That just scared the poop out of me. And to think - there are children, not only going to school, but also LIVING in such a neighborhood. Makes me shudder. Hope you get a safer school to teach at.
