HELP PLEASE
Does anyone know what this fruit is? One of my kids brought it into school to show me and we can not figure out what it is? Any ideas? The inside reminds me of a kiwi but it is shaped like and apple and the outer skin is really bumpy.

Yes!!! I think Scott figured it out. I have never heard of a hedge apple let alone seen one.

Definitely a hedge apple, I've picked up more than my share from the yard. They are great mice repellant- leave a few in the corner of your garage or attic.
