Books I wish they’d turn into movies (or at least better movies).
- Northanger Abbey – One of my favorite Jane Austen books and the only movie version of it is bad.
- Ella Enchanted – The movie version of it was so off from the book I can’t even get myself to like it. Someone please do the book justice.
- The Hobbit – Now that the trilogy is done, let’s go back and do the prequel.
- Robin Jones Gunn’s Glenbrooke Series – I just think they’d make good romantic comedies.
- Dee Henderson’s O’Malley series – good suspense stories with loveable characters.
- Wicked – Basically I want a movie version of the stage show rather than the book, the book is a little too twisted. Same original cast is vital.
- A Junie B. Jones movie – combine aspects of the books and you have a very funny kids movie.
Any to add?

Why DIDN'T they do the Hobbit??? I'm still annoyed about that!
Here's my list:
1. Villette (Charlotte Bronte)
2. A decent version of Great Expectations (Charles Dickens)
3. The Sun Also Rises (Hemingway) - Don't ask why I liked that book so much, because I don't know why I liked it so much - maybe because it was the first Hemingway book I made it through that didn't make me sick with dread.
4. The Mark of the Lion series (Francine Rivers) which are just about my favorite books of all time.
